OUR STORY

It’s hard to summarize it all in one page, and our story continues to expand. Destiny Music Group AKA Destiny Music Publishing, LLC, is a production company that is owned by siblings Aaron and Elijah Johnson, founded in sunny North Hollywood, CA. The Johnsons are a family of entertainers and artisans, with some notable figures and accomplishments along 70+ years, beginning with their grandfather on their dad’s side, whom founded a Gold record selling Gospel music group that toured the world for 50 years.

Now, it was this new generation’s turn. Created by their mother as an entity for her children to run their business through, Destiny saw its first projects realized: “Everything2Me”, an album co-written and produced by their father in 2015, Aaron’s first album, “Chilled Coffee” in 2014, and their graphic novel series, The Formula, created, written and illustrated by all three and distributed by FriesenPress in 2020.

Since 2016, the siblings began writing and production work with Mercenary Muzik Group, which is involved in many releases through Pulse, Konvict Music, and many others. After a period of artist development with Palm Tree Entertainment/Republic from 2018-2020, Destiny got placements and credits with artists and camps in the East Coast, such as Itchy House, Ron Suno and others.

We teamed up in the Spring of 2020 with 3rd Eye Tribe Entertainment to begin developing new multimedia platforms for independent artists, which launched a tour circuit and eventually a joint venture deal with Universal Records/Ingrooves, in Fall, 2021.

Our story is still expanding. As a production company, Destiny Music Group prides ourselves in aligning with cutting edge brands and creators that will innovate, provide opportunities and empower our community for the future.
